SDSC & OSHA Alliance!

Janie and OSHA representative signing Alliance agreement

Janie Ritter the Executive Director of the South Dakota Safety Council and Sheila Stanley Area Director of the Department of Labor-OSHA, Sioux Falls Area Office have signed an alliance agreement. This is a formal recognition of efforts we are already doing to establish a collaborative relationship to foster safety & health practices and programs to improve workplace safety.

This alliance provides the SD Safety Council members and the public with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect workers by reducing and preventing exposure to job site hazards in both General Industry and Construction, and understand the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers under the Occupational Safety & Health Act.
