This four-day course covers adult learning principles, training course development, effective use of training aids, basics of public speaking and more. Part of the Advanced Safety Certificate Series.

Safety Training Methods is for you if, as part of your job, you are responsible for training employees. Based on current instructional design, performance technology, and adult learning principles, it will give you the knowledge and skills required to plan, organize, create, and deliver effective training programs.

Prerequisites: NONE

Who should attend: This course is for you if you are directly or indirectly involved in the training of supervisors, employees or upper levels of management and you are concerned with development of in-depth training programs. It is a required course for safety professionals seeking the National Safety Council Advanced Safety Certificate.
